FIEBER, 1923-2000 Albert F. FIEBER, 77, of Pittsville, died Friday October 27th at his home. Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. Joachim's Catholic church, Pittsville, with Rev. Donald BERG officiating. Burial was in St Joachim's Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mark KLEIFGEN, Don KLEIFGEN, Ed HENDRICKSON, Dave SODERBERG, Bob TTRITZ and LeRoy SMAZAL. Al was born October 7, 1923 in Pittsville to Albert and Elizabeth (GERARD) FIEBER. He was educated at Four Corners School and St Joachim's School. He married Margaret (PIERSON) BROWN June 19, 1954 in Wisconsin Rapids. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in 1999. Albert worked on the family farm in the Town of Wood. They moved into the City of Pittsville in 1967 and he worked for Pittsville Fur Foods until 1969. Albert was then employed at Hewitt Packing and Processing at Lindsey, retiring in 1994. He worked for Green Thumb Inc. in the City of Pittsville retiring due to ill health in June of this year. Albert was a member of St. Joachim's Catholic church and the Holy Name Society. He is survived by his wife, Margaret of Pittsville; three children, Marge (Richard) SKERVEN of Wisconsin Rapids, Joe (Pam) FIEBER of Pittsville, and Betty (Richard) RAMSEY of Fort Rucker, Alabama; two step-children, Marlene (John) BIDWELL of Nekoosa and Mike (Anita) BROWN of Rockwell, Texas; five grandchildren, Tom, Katie, Kalie, Sally and Jenny; one great-grandchild, Sam; 23 step-grandchildren, 31 step-great-grandchildren; 15 step great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Barb HANUTKE of Black River Falls, Sister M. Bertille of Mount Calvary, and Elizabeth FIEBER of Marshfield; and one sister-in-law, Donna FIEBER of Chili. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, John, Ted, Phil and Hubert; one sister, Josephine in infancy; one son, Frank in infancy; and one step-daughter, Kathy SNYDER in 1997.
