Her funeral was held October 26 at St. Joseph's Catholic church, and Reverend Jeremy Maksvytis officiated. Interment was in Eureka cemetery. Marion was born October 4, 1911, in the Sheboygan cCunty town of Adell. She is the daughter of the late Alvin and Josephine (HAMM) LIEBENSTEIN. Marion was a member of the 1929 graduating class of Pittsville High School. On June 28, 1930, Marion was united in marriage with Albert J VIERTEL in Pittsville. Albert preceded Marion in death on May 12, 1983. Marion was a member of St Joseph's Catholic church and the Catholic Daughters of St Joseph's. She was a charter member of the Koro Homemakers Club and was a former member of the Eureka School Mother's Club. Marion had worked at Realist of Berlin and Green Giant in Ripon. She was also the agent for Al's Polka Band. She enjoyed gardening, watching and feeding birds, and her family. She is survived by six children, Barbara (Raymond) VERHEYEN of Berlin, Claire (Sally) VIERTEL of Oshkosh, Charles (Julie) VIERTEL of West Allis, John (Bonnie) VIERTEL of Berlin, Joesph (Patti) VIERTEL of Janesville, and Mark VIERTEL of Sarasota FL; four siblings, Roger (Avis) LIEBENSTEIN of St Cloud, FL, Annette GEORGE of Baraboo, and Inez (Albert) ROKUS and Jean (Otto) SCHILLER, both of Vesper; one daughter-in-law; three sisters-in-law; a dear special friend, Jean MORROW of Berlin; 20 grandchildren; and many other relatives and dear friends. Marion was pre-deceased by her husband, Albert, two sons; three brothers; one sister; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. Joan M.
