Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Ritchay Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids. The Rev Barry YARBRO will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Helen was born on Oct 10, 1909 in Wisconsin Rapids, to Adolph and Catherine (MIKKELSEN) RIEMER. She married Howard W. ANDERSON on June 1, 1930 in Wisconsin Rapids. He died on Oct 11, 1954. Helen worked for Nekoosa Port Edwards Paper Co. for over 20 years. She was a former member of the Eastern Star Chapter 87, Mount Olive White Shrine of Jerusalem Number 24, the South Wood County Historical Society and Museum, Friends of the McMillan Library, the Riverview Hospital Auxiliary, National and Local AARP, the Business and Professional Women, and the Shriner's Auxiliary. Survivors include two children, Sally (Wesley) EBEL, Shoreline, WA, and David ANDERSON, Wisconsin Rapids; seven grandchildren, Mickal ANDERSON, Sue (Kevin) ANDERSON, Vickie POPLIN, William ANDERSON, Gary (Shelley) EBEL, Thomas (Renae) EBEL and Charles (Jessie) EBEL; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Delia (Merrill) DOUGLASS, Woodstock, IL and Gloria SMITH, Janesville, WI. She was predeceased by her parents; husband; two brothers, Delbert and Clarence RIEMER; and one sister, Gladys STORRS. There will be no visitation. Ritchay Funeral Home is assisting the family.
