MATTHEIS, 92, of Rosendale, died February 11, 2002 in Fond du Lac. She was born December 10, 1909 near Pittsville, Wisconsin. Maisie graduated from Pittsville High School in 1928 and was married to Bernard MATTHEIS on December 20, 1934 in Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1988. Survivors include her children, Fredrick (Sally) MATTHEIS, Robert (Jackie) MATTHEIS, George (Barbara) MATTHEIS, Allys (Wayne) RUDISILL and Richard MATTHEIS; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Four brothers, two sisters, and a great-granddaughter preceded her in death. Services for Maisie were held Saturday, February 16th, at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale, Rev. Charles Thompson officiating. Interment was in Rosendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Peace Lutheran Church in Maisie's honor.
