Emil immigrated in 1891 with a Charley J and Whilhelmina "Minnie" REINKE, however unknown where they lived prior to 1900 (Possibly Milwaukee, WI). In 1900 Federal Census, Emil KUEHL was residing with Charley J and Minnie REINKE, their other children: and a boarder named Fred KUHL. Fred is believed to be Whilhelmina's brother. Olga Ottillie SCHULTZ is the daughter of Gutav W SCHULTZ b 1860 West Pricers, Germany and Mary VANHORN b 1873 Germany. This spelling is in Emil's neat and legible handwriting. In the courthouse the document is filed under RUEHL for unknown reasons. In the 1920 Census, Emil KUEHL, his wife, Olga O SCHULTZ and three children lived in Cloquet, Carlton Co, WI. Shortly after, he appears in Nekoosa, Saratoga Township, Wood Co, WI, where he lived in Tesserville, until his death.
