Funeral services will be held Friday at the United Methodist church in Wisconsin Rapids with Rev. Barry Yarbro officiating. Burial will be in Mound cemetery, Pittsville, with family members serving as pallbearers. Alfred was born February 18, 1907 in Wood county to Jacob and Marie (BRIGGEM) LEHNHERR. He was educated at Three Oaks school. He farmed with his parents and was then employed for 35 years at Nekoosa-Edwards Paper Company. Alfred was a member of the United Methodist church in Wisconsin Rapids. He is survived by his companion of many years, Loretta MOERCHEN of Wisconsin Rapids, one sister, Helen TRIPLAT of Pittsville; one niece, Penny (Dick) SCHNEIDER of Maryland; three nephews, Tom (Ingrid) TRIPLAT of Colorado, Richard (Carol) TRIPLAT of Rudolph and Charles (Debbie) TRIPLAT of Pittsville. He was preced in death by two sisters. Buchanan Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Joan M.
