I am researching my gg grandmother Deborah Cronkite, born in Holland approx.. 1820-1830. Her mother was also named Deborah. She married Nathan Hazelton, born 1821. They had a son Nathan, my great grandfather, born 1859 in New Jersey. The family is believed to be one of the first to settle in what is now Milladore, WI. Other possible children were Deborah Carolyn, Frederick, Joseph, George, and James. Deborah Cronkite/Hazelton died in childbirth. Nathan, her husband, died June 5, 1897, and is buried in Union Cemetery near Junction City and Milladore. I can't find a grave for Deborah. Perhaps she died in N. J. Are there any Cronkites in Wisconsin Rapids or Wood County that may be connected to Deborah in anyway?
