Funeral services were Tuesday at St. James Catholic church in Vesper with Rev James Benzmiller officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery in Altdorf. Alfred was born August 2, 1914, in the Town of Sigel to Alvin and Viola (nee WINCH) KISSINGER. He married Louise BROCKMAN on Sep 12, 1935 at St Joseph's Catholic church in Altdorf. Alfred worked at Consolidated Papers, Inc. for ten years from 1936 to 1946. He then became a milk hauler in the area for the next 39 years, retiring in 1986. Alfred's love of music involved him in a number of local polka bands. Survivors include his wife, Louise; children, Yvonne (Gene) ELLIE of Wisconsin Rapids, Donna (Henry Sr.) TAMBORNINO of Sturtevant, Janet (Marvin) WALLOCH of Wisconsin Rapids, Susanne (Robert Sr.) WALLNER of Baton Rouge, LA, Everett (Kristine) KISSINGER of Petersburg, Alaska, Mary (Gary) MITCHEL of Marshfield, William (Kay) KISSINGER of Sobieske, Willard (Sue) KISSINGER of Clancy, MT, Rebecca (Ralph) HEISER of Baraboo and Jeffrey (Beth) KISSINGER of Vesper; his sister, Velma (Howard) KNUTESON of Vesper; 37 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James Alfred; and two grandchildren. Ritchay Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, was in charge of arrangements. Joan M.
