Funeral services were held Wednesday at St Joachim's Catholic church, Pittsville, with Rev James BENZMILLER officiating. Marilyn ORTNER served as organist and Ralph TRITZ was soloist. Burial was in St. Joachim's parish cemetery, Pittsville. Grandchildren Richard and Rodney HECK, Mark and David HALL, and Greg and Nicole McDONALD served as pallbearers. Charlotte M HECK was born Dec 31, 1918 in the Town of Cary to Carl and Elsie (SMITH) CHRISTENSEN. She was educated at Cary Bluff school, and before marriage helped her parents on their farm at Cary Bluff. Charlotte was married to Peter HECK January 15, 1938 at St Joachim's Catholic Church, Pittsville. They resided in the Pittsville area and Charlotte was a homemaker and worked at various part-time jobs including cooking at Maryheart Grade School, bean factory, and working at Baum's Store. For five years (1962-1967) she owned and operated C & H Drive-In at Nekoosa. They had resided in the Woodco Apartments in Pittsville since 1982. Charlotte enjoyed crocheting, fishing, gardening and playing cards. She was a member of St Joachim's Catholic church, P.C.C.W., St Lucy and then St Elizabeth Circle, and the Pittsville Senior Citizens. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Peter HECK of Pittsville; one son Larry (Ann) HECK of Pittsville; two daughters, Karen (Carl) HALL of Nekoosa and Peggy (Steve) MCDONALD of Wisconsin Rapids, 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Richard (Sandra) CHRISTENSEN of Marshfield. Charlotte was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Vance and one sister, Mildred BERCUM. Buchanan Funeral Home, Pittsville, handled arrangements. Joan M.
