Funeral services were Saturday, March 24th at Trinity Lutheran church in Vesper, and burial was in Restlawn Memorial Park cemetery. She married Paul ZABEL in 1935, and he passed away in 1988. Mrs ZABEL taught school in the Vesper and Arpin area, retiring in 1974. Survivors include Virgie and Tom GILLETTE; one grandson, Kirk GILLETTE and his wife Mary, and their children Chelsea, Matt and Jordan; one granddaughter, Lisa and her husband, Mark CYCHOSZ, and their children Allison, Eric and Noah; one sister, Beryl; and one brother, Mike. Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, was in charge of arrangements. Joan M.
