She was born December 10, 1934, in Babcock, to Edward C. KEENAN and Leota BOWDEN. She lived most of her childhood in Kingsford heights, prior to moving to Chicago in 1955. A graduate of Ball State University with a bachelor's degree in Education and a member of Chi Omega Sorority, Mrs SHARKUS taught physical education in Palatine, Il. She co-owned Bruno's Liquors with her husband in Lake Geneva, was a little league baseball coach, leader in American Association of University Women, American legion Auxiliary and Brownie Troops, a lifetime Girl Scout and past president of Lake Geneva Lioness Club. She was married to Bruno SHARKUS Dec 31, 1956, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Kathryn SHARKUS HABER of Homer, AK and Elizabeth MOSLANDER of Hawthorn Woods, IL; three sons, Ed of West Bend, and Jim and Jon, both of Lake Geneva; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Peg GREER of Plano, TX, and Judy HINER of Kingsford Heights. She was preceded in death by her parents and older sister, Nancy KEENAN. Services were held in Mission, TX. Joan M.
