Mrs LAIDIG was born on Sep. 25, 1925, in Barrington, IL, the daughter of the late Andrew and Wilhelmina (MILLER) GROM. On Jan. 3, 1952, she married William R LAIDIG in Wisconsin. Lorraine was a member of San Marco Parish in Marco, FL, and Our Lady of Peace in Manitowish Waters, and the Eagles Creek County Club in Naples, FL. Lorraine is survived by her husband William R.; three daughters and son-in-laws, Ann and Douglas BARNCARD, Green Bay; Mary and Douglas WILLIAMS, Dothan, Ala., and Margaret LAIDIG and Thomas FANNING, Woodbury, Conn.; one son and daughter-in-law, William A and Sharel LAIDIG, Madison, AL; seven grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law, Gertrude and Jack RAPRAGER, Wisconsin Rapids; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert L and Jackie GROM, McHenry, IL; other relatives and friends. Preceding Lorraine in death are her two brothers ( Edward GROM and Charles GROM). Memorial service information will be provided at a later date. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Support Group in Naples, FL, or to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation in care of Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home.
