Abstracted from the Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune, September 30, 1936, Page 1 Column 1 Mrs. M. O. POTTER, 80, widow of the late M. O. POTTER who was a prominent cranberry grower in this area, died at her home at 460 1st Avenue South after an illness of several months. Mrs. POTTER was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. B. WOODRUFF and was born in Richford (Waushara Co WI), August 30, 1856. Her parents came from Vermont and first settled at Kenosha before moving on to Richford. Surviving are three sons, Guy and Oscar of Warrens, and Roy of Wisconsin Rapids; and two daughters, Mrs. John WOODDELL and Mrs. Byrl WINN, both of Wisconsin Rapids. There are 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
