Hi, Is there any way to get further information on the names in the index? I found one in Auburndale, and 4 in Arpin that I would really, really like to get a closer look at. Thanks to all who take the time to do this for the rest of us. It makes our searches so much easier. Judy ("sin city", Las Vegas, Nv.)
Hello, The best way to get further information on the people listed is to go to the census. There is no further information in the book. Since you now know where they lived in 1909 there is a chance they were there for the 1905 state census and the 1910 federal census. If you don't have access to census records, email the McMillan library with the information that you have and ask for a look-up. Be sure to give them the names, and the townships, and specify the dates of the census. Their email address, mailing address, and telephone number can be found on the Wood County website where you found the 1909 atlas information. Hope this helps.
