Fred Kersten, former pastor of Bethlehem Lutheran church, died here Wednesday of a heart attack. Mrs. KERSTEN was born March 15, 1876 in Chicago to Mr. and Mrs. Martin TELLER. She was married in Chicago to Rev. Mr. KERSTEN Nov 30, 1904. He passed away on October 21, 1945. Ella had been a resident of the area for the past 24 years. Survivors include two sons, Fred and Walter; three daughters, Mrs. Hugh O'DONNELL, Mrs. Martin MCKEE, and Miss Louise KERSTEN; two sisters, Mrs. Charles REIMER and Mrs. F. H. KRETZSCHMAR; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at Bethlehem Lutheran church with burial in Riverside Cemetery (Nekoosa). Feldner Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
