Memorial services will be at 11a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church in Wuerzburg. Private family interment will be held at a later date. The Cremation Society of Wisconsin is assisting the family. He was born Dec 14, 1914, in Poniatowski to John and Angeline (nee WRITZ) LITERSKI. He farmed and logged until his retirement in December 1979. He is survived by his wife Merceda (nee MURKOWSKI) LITERSKI, six sons; Philip LITERSKI and Michael (Jean) LITERSKI, all of Athens, Joseph LITERSKI Jr and David (Pamela) LITERSKI, all of Edgar, Dale (Marianne) LITERSKI of Athens and Patrick LITERSKI of Mosinee; one daughter Linda (Todd) PETERSON of Oconto Falls; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; his sister Dorothy (Howard) MURKOWSKI of Athens, and his brother, John (Marcella) LITERSKI of Tomahawk.
