Funeral services were Monday at Open Bible Church, Pierre, SD. Pastor Brain HOFER officiated with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Pierre. Music was provided by Mildred Urquhart, pianist, and Mary Jo Hofer, soloist. Luella was born Dec 26, 1909, in Bordulac, ND to John KELLY and Lulu TAYLOR. She was educuated in Blunt, SD. She married Everett SCHUMACHER June 19, 1932. They resided in Illinois, Iowa and mostly in SD until 1973. Then, she lived in TX, OH and MA. Everett died in 1965. Luella made her home with her son, Wesley, in Pittsville for the past 11 years. She is survived by three sons, Wesley (Goldie) KELLY of Pittsville, Stevens SCHUMACHER of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Robert (Debra) KELLY of Pittsville; two daughters, Dorothy EKLAND of AZ and Marsha (Leonard) ROBERTS of Alice, TX; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Muriel WELLS of UT.
