Dear Marlys, These are in my family. My gr gr grandfather is Victor Bourgard, his real name is Victor Jarret Beauregard, parents Francois Jarret Beauregard & Angelique Chatel. He married Philomene Lesage daughter of Leon Lesage also my gr gr grandfather, he married Sophie Poliquin in St Suplice, Quebec. His parents were Jean Baptiste Lesage & Angelique Garon/Gauron married in St Antoine, Sorel Quebec. Leon and Sophie had a daughter Sophie who married Jacob Pataska Sr [Port Edwards]. Jacob Pataska Jr was my father. I have the death notice of Victor Jr and he is in the family of Victor and Philomene. No Name Child born December 05, 1904 V2, P257. Parents were Victor BOURGARD and Phelema LASARGE. Mike M. born December 03, 1911 V5, P495. Parents Victor BOURGARD and Phelema LASARGE. Died of Bridges desease brought on by small pox. Then I came across a very stange one. Victor BOURGARD died September 12, 1897. 22 years, 2 months and 8 days. Parents were Victor and Phelenarr Hit by train at the Port Edwards Mill. Race Black. V2, P5 Next Victor BOURGARD died September 19, 1897 V2, P6 Race white, age 22 died when struck by a train at Port Edwards Mill. Parents were Victor and Phelenarr. ( May have to look in Newspaper to see what happened). Their children and spouses also hosted a private dinner at Lake Aire supper Club, Wisconsin Rapids. The former Janet SWANSON and Arnie DRISCOLL were married August 19, 1941. Arnie served in the United States Navy from 1942-1945. He worked for Nekoosa Edwards Paper Co. Inc. at Port Edwards Mill for 42 years, retiring as a maintenance supervisor in Dec 31, 1980. Janet worked at the main office at Nekoosa Edwards Paper Co. The former Bette OLESON and Don SEDALL were married Aug. 08, 1851, at the Holy Rosary Church, Town of Sigel. Don served in the United States Air Force from 1950-1953. He retired in June 1985 after 25 years as the Undersheriff for Wood County. Bette worked for Proctor and Gamble, Chicago. She retired from the Great Northern Paper Co. in 1988 after 21 years of Employment.
