Lesselyong, World War I soldier for whom the local American Legion Post was named will be held Tues. morning at 9o'clock at St.John's Catholic Church. Mrs. Lesselyong died yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs.R.E. Errington at Appleton. The Rev. Augustine Frisch will officiate at the Requiem High Mass and buriel will take place in the family lot at Hillside Cemetary. Hold Rosary Services The body will lie in state at the Rembs Funeral Home beginning this evening and a rosary service for the Altar Society at St.John's will be held there at 8 o'clock Mon. evening. Mrs.Lesselyong, nee Mary LEINWANDER, was born Jan 17,1850 in Austria-Hungary and lived there until she was about five years old when she moved with her parents to Appleton. She lived in Appleton until about eight years after her marriage to John E. Lesselyong when she moved to Marshfield with her husband and family. After the death of her husband 10years ago. Mrs.Lesselyong lived with her daughter, Mrs. William Scheller here during the summers and spent the winters with another daughter, Mrs.R.E. Errington in Appleton. Was Gold Star Mother Mr.&Mrs. Lesselyong celebrated their golden wedding anniv. 18yrs ago. She was one of the first Gold Star Mothers here, a member of St.John's Altar Society and charter member of the American Legion Auxillary of Marshfield. Surviving her are the following children: George, Tuolomme, Calif.; Jake, Clintonville; Mike, Appleton; Mrs.William(Rose) Scheller, Marshfield; Mrs.Robt E.(Eleanor)Errington, Appleton; Sixteen grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren also survive. Preceding her in death were her husband, three brothers, two sisters, and the following children; Mrs.John(Mayme)ReVoyr, Mrs.Gary(Helen)Mason, William J.Lesselyong and John Lesselyong Jr. Two daughters and a son died in childhood. Mrs.Lesselyong resided at 202 N.Vine St. Marshfield, WI

Blodgett St, the past five years, was found dead in bed at 3:30am Sun. at the home of her brother-in-law, Louis Scheller, McMillan. Pulmonary embolism was given as the cause the death. The body will lie in state at the Rembs Funeral Home beginning this evening and funeral services will be conducted there Wed. afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev.Raymond H Browe of Zion Evengelical Chruch. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetary. Mrs Schultz, nee SKUELSKI was born in Germany, Aug. 1, 1865 and lived in the vicinity the past 38 years. She was married in 1889 at Chaska, MN. to Edward SCHELLER, who died in 1915 and in 1927 she married Gustave SCHULTZ at Sheboygan and he died in 1939. Surviving are a son, William Scheller, Marshfield; two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Berg, Marshfield and Mrs. Jesse (Lena) Colburn, Shawano; a sister Mrs.Ernestine Kerwin, Sheboygan; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her parents, Mr.and Mrs.Edwin SKUELSKI, a brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Morning John Lesselyong 81, died about 6pm yesterday at his home at the corner of N.Vine and E.Arnold streets, following a long illness resulting from complications of kidney trouble. Father A.J.Dorrenbach will officiate at the funeral services, which will be held Tues. at 9am from St.John's Catholic Church. Mr. Lesselyong was born Oct.14, 1850 at Luxembourg, Germany and lacked a few weeks of attaining the age of 81yrs. He came to America while a young man and on Jan. 10, 1872 he married to Miss Mary Leinwander at Appelton. He has been a resident of Marshfield for the past 45 yrs. operating a brickyard here until he retired in 1917. Mrs. Lesselyong survives him, as do four sons and four daughters. George, Hobart Mills, Calif.; Jacob, Clintonville; Michael, Appleton; Edward, Chicago, IL.; Mrs.John ReVoyr, Mrs. GW Mason, and Mrs.William Scheller all of Marshfield, and Mrs R.F. Errington, Appleton. Five children, three sons and two daughters, preceded Mr. Lesselyong in death. One son, William J., was killed in the World War and the Marshfield Legion Post now bears his name. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs.Clara Mayer, Appleton and Mrs.Anna Stillman, Racine and by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mr.Lesselyong was a member of the Order of Owls and also of St.Joseph's society, Appleton. He was the son of Margaretha Allard Losselyong and John Losselyong who was killed in the Civil War.

Services will be at 10 a.m. saturday at the Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home, Nekoosa. The Rev. Robert Hegenbarth will officiate. burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery, Princeton. Siddall was born Dec. 6, 1916, in Barronett to James and Martha Siddall. His marriage to Gladys Luchuck ended in divorce. He was employed as a pulp cutter for many years and also was employed at the Nekoosa Foundry. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include two sons, Paul Siddall Sr., Wisconsin Rapids, and James A. Siddall of Illinois, and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and six brothers. LDS microfilm has a lot of information on them. I have contacted the ancestors of my Elisabeth Reumenapp from 1850 - ones still present in Kreuzebra. My Ruemenapp link was in Kreuzebra -where she married a Meinhardt. It was August Meinhardt that came to US in 1880's to live in Marshfield to New London, WI. Good Luck!

There is a F. B. Hitchcock that married a Albert Laramie on January 14, 1997 in Wood County, Volume 1, Page 58. Also A Georgiana Laramie who married a Emile Pelletier on May 01, 1887 Volume 1, Page 61. Olive Laramie married E.V. Baldwin December 17, 1888, Volume 2, Page 2. Antonia Laramie married George Grignon June 27, 1894 Volume 2, Page 61. Charles Laramie married Isabelle Sutor August 18, 1900, Volume 2, Page 128. Isabelle Laramie married Allen Anderson Nov 28, 1905 Volume 2, Page 61. A H. W. Hitchcock owned land in Seneca, WI in 1878. There was a Asher Hitchcock buried in Arpin Cemetery Born Jan 14, 1918, died January 14, 1918. In Elsie's scrapbook, a collection of newspaper clippings from the Marshfield newspaper there is mention of a E.G. Hitchcock on page 178. Dave Engel's Book on River cities. There is mention of a Gladys Laramie in Fat memoirs and a Laramie & Haefner Barber shop in Volume 6.
