He was born February 5, 1917 in Chicago to Casimir and Mary (KASMIR) DAMBROWSKI. He returned to Poland with his parents when he was 4 years old. During World War II he served in the United States Army, serving from 1941 to 1945. He then worked in Chicago until he moved to the Pittsville area to farm in 1949. He later developed a pine tree plantation which included several ponds. He was a member of St. Joachim's Catholic church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7131 of Pittsville and the American Tree Association. Hank is survived by a sister, Lottie KRUPA of Poland and by his American family and friends including Mary PINNEY, Walt and Mary GRAF, Ward and Charlene IRWIN Jr. and their families, Robert PINNEY and his family, and special friends, Ted and Stella GABIGA. He was pre-deceased by his parents and one brother. Funeral services were held Wednesday at St. Joachim's Catholic church, Pittsville, with Rev. Jude Ndugbu officiating. Burial was in Corpus Christi cemetery in Bakerville with military rites provided by American Legion Post 54 of Marshfield. Deceased was removed to the hospital last Sat. Born in Horicon, Wis. thirty eight years ago, Mr. Pilsner came to Marshfield at the age of 8. In late years he followed the occupation of a carpenter and for a time operated a store on N. Resident of City Dies Friday Night Rites for Mrs.Anna Pilsner Weinert, 81 to be Held Monday Mrs.Anna Pilsner Weinert, 81, resident of this community for half a century, died at 6:30 o'clock Fri. evening at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr & Mrs. Albert C.Johnson, 313 S. Central Ave, after a two month illness. A heart ailment and hardening of the arteries causeed death. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St.John's Catholic Church with the Rt.Rev.Msgr.A.J. Dorrenbach officiating. Burial will take place in the Hewitt Cemetary. The body is lying in state at the Baer-Lange funeral home, with John Rembs in charge of arrangements. A rosary service will be held there Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Mrs.Weinert, nee Anna HARDINGER was born April 27, 1856 in Germany and was married at the age of 26 to John PILSNER. Two years after their marriage, the couple came to the US residing in Horicon for several years before settling at Hewitt. Mr.Pilsner died about 45 years ago. Five year later, Mrs.Pilsner was married to Andrew WEINERT. The couple continued to reside at Hewitt until 26yrs ago when they moved to this city. Mr.Weinert died about 15yrs ago. Since his death Mrs.Weinert has been making her home with Mr.& Mrs. Johnson the majority of the time. During her residence in Hewitt, Mrs.Weinert was an active member of the Christian Mothers and Altar Society. Three children survive. They are Frank Pilsner, city; Mrs. Wilbur(Marie) LeClare, Madison; and Mrs.Albert(Mathilda) Johnson, city. One sister, Mrs.George Huber, Hewitt, 20 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild also survive. She was preceded in death by four sons, August, John, Louis and Joseph Pilsner.
