Kranz before 1870. The 1860 census for Oshkosh has four members of this family living with the family of Anton O. Krug. The Retzoks were: Gustav, 24, August, 18, Ernestine, also 18, and Julianna, 12. Mrs. Krug, Rosa, was 22 so these may have been her siblings. All were born in Prussia. Gustav and August are listed over the years in the City Directories under several different spellings but I am unable to connect them with certainty to Ernestine Retzok Kranz. I would also like to know about their ancestors. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Polly
