Obviously, if you can make a trip to Winnebago County, you could visit the Vital Records office. While copies cost, taking notes is free. Check with your local public library about seeing the 1900 and 1910 census listings for these folks. Many libraries are subscribed to services which will let you view these online. Take a look at this 1909 county map.
