Warren L. Wood. Warren L. Wood, 83, formerly of 834 Bowen St., died today at 4:40 a.m. at Oshkosh Care Center. He was born in Oshkosh on Oct. 12, 1892, son of Delford and Olive Wood, and was married here to Margretta Davies on Oct. 22, 1918. Mr. Wood had been a postal mail carrier until 1954, and then had been employed at First Wisconsin National Bank. He served with the Army during World War I. He was a member of First Congregational Church, Cook-Fuller Post 70 of American Legion and Local 173 of American Association of Letter Carriers. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Dale Wood, Oshkosh, and Lynn Wood, Neenah; four brothers, Calvin and Walter Wood, Oshkosh, Howard Wood, Van Dyne, and Robert Wood, Neenah; four sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Esther) Rhyner, Mrs. Lester (Helen) Ross, Oshkosh, Mrs. Robert (Marion) Nelson, Chicago, and Mrs. Florence Johnson, San Altos, Calif.; and five grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Seefeld Church Avenue Chapel, with the Rev. Paul R. Martin, of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Church Avenue Chapel from Friday noon until the hour of services. A memorial has been established.
