Bev and Marcus, Because Piller surname is not too common and your interest is Winnebago county can I join in? My gr gr grandmother Elizabeth Piller married William Sharpe, came to Oskosh about 1849. Her obituary states she was born in Danbury, Devon county England 1827. "She was the daughter of Captain Piller an English sea captain." I know she had some brother or nephew. I have a little information about the Pillers in England. Would like to exchange information if you see any connection. All I know is my grandfather Otto was born in the area. I don't know who his Uncles or other relatives other than siblings may have been. There may be some connection. If you wouldn't mind asking, perhaps we may find out something about a connection. Thanks.
