Email me if you would like me to put you incontact with him. Daily Northwestern, Oshkosh, WI Thursday, January 7, 1932 Obituary JAMES F. SHOVE DIES ON FARM NEAR WAUKAU Omro, Wis. - James F. Shove, 86 years old, died Wednesday night at 9 o'clock on the farm near Waukau where he had lived for many years. Death followed a long illness. Mr. Shove was born at Waukesha Feb. 20, 1845. When he was 3 years old he moved with his parents to a farm near Waukau. Later he pioneered for 13 years on a farm at Howard, in Miner county, South Dakota. In 1894 he returned from there. Survivors are the widow; four sons, Theron of Waukau, Loren of Milwaukee, Ore., Worden of Appleton, and Andrew of Waukau; and three daughters, Miss Freda Shove, at home, Mrs. Dorothy Moss of Owanka, SD, and Mrs. Florence Gehring of Howard, SD. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Waukau Methodist Church. Rev. John Collinge will officiate. Burial will be in the Waukau Cemetery. The family has asked that flowers be omitted. Daily Northwestern, Oshkosh, WI Saturday, March 6, 1943 Obituary MRS. FRANCES SHOVE DIES AT FARM HOME Omro, Wis. - Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Shove passed away Friday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock at her farm home near Waukau following an illness of two weeks and a partial stroke. Born in Waushara County June 2, 1856, she was the daughter of Charles and Jane Cunningham and in 1881 she married James Shove of Waukau. He preceded her in death in January of 1932. Surviving are seven children, Theron, Freda and Andree Shove, at home, Loren Shove of Milwaukee, Ore., Worden Shove of Appleton, Mrs. Dorothy Moss of Owanka, SD, and Mrs. Florence Gehring of Howard, SD. There are also 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Planske funeral home Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and at the Waukau Methodist Church at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Arthur Edwards, pastor officiating. Burial will be at the Waukau Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and until the time of the services. Daily Northwestern, Oshkosh, WI Monday, June 23, 1975 Obituary Andree J. Shove WAUKAU - Andree J. Shove, 78, of Waukau, died late Sunday afternoon at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh. Born in the Town of Rushford, June 29, 1896, he married Norma Walker, June 28, 1928 at Hancock. He had lived in the Waukau area all of his lifetime and was a retired farmer. Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Metko, Waukau, and two grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Plansky Funeral Home, Omro, the Rev. Allen McCaul officiating. Burial will be in the Waukau Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday. Daily Northwestern, Oshkosh, WI Monday, December 29, 1986 Obituary Norma Shove WAUKAU - Norma Shove, 78, Waukau, died Saturday evening in Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh. She was born Dec. 26, 1908, in Adams County, the daughter of Alfred and Lillie Lowell Walker. She married Andree Shove June 28, 1928, in Hancock. He died June 22, 1975. Mrs. Shove was a member of Waukau United Methodist Church and its Myriam Circle, and the Poygan and Waukau community centers. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Metko, Waukau, and two grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Seefeld-Plansky Funeral Chapel, Omro, the Rev. Bruce Fenner officiating. Burial will be in the Waukau Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established.
