I wondered why the the Glogon site had no mention of father Lani, so I searched his name. He baptized me in 1937 and for many years my grandparents attended St. Stephen's. I remember the bazaars every year and all the people who gradually left us as the years went by. The funerals at Reidermann's were more and more sparcely attended as the years passed. After ww2 the neighborhood around the church was populated by many "DP's" and the parish flourished. Those were good times. I remember some of the men would repair to the parish hall for a beer after mass. My cousins the Budos attended mass there after coming from Glogon after the war. I have since lost touch with them and I suppose progress has taken its toll. Regards, John Rieth
