Blake and descendents. Jotham (maybe Jonathan) is listed as J.P Blake and Jotham P. Blake on the 1860 and 1870 1st Ward Oshkosh City census. He is born about 1803 in New York, his parents might be from England. His first wife is an Elizabeth N. (madien name unknown) born in PA. They had 10 children, 5 girls/5 boys. My great-great-grandfather is George R. Blake b. Feb 1854 in Wis, d. 1920 CA; the 2nd to youngest child. Jotham's 2nd wife is Margary A. Butler (?) b. New Brunswick; No children. Jotham Blake lists himself as a physician on most census', though he is also listed as a clerk and a hotelkeeper on 2 census'. Any information on this family or possible sources of information would be helpful.
