I am not up to date on the WLGS info though and you are not the first to mention this fee. Will have to check into this I, on the other hand, have your info written down and will see what I can do to find your two obits....did you notice what page they are on in the newspaper? If not, no big deal, I should find them. I can get your obits for a quarter each.....!

I recently received some obits from the Winnebagoland Genealogial Society and was informed they had a $ 10.00 per hour research fee prepaid plus 25 cents for each copy. I had already looked up the dates for my request, I receicived 10 copies at a total cost of $13.33 which included 83 cents for postage. $10.00 for the research fee, $2.50 for 10 copies and as I mentioned .83 cents for postage. Considering the information I gained I think it was well worth it.
