Langkau, Jacob was living in the Wisconsin Veterns Home at King, Waupaca County, at the time of the 1900 census. His wife was named Martha; they were married in 1879. With that information it was easy to find them on the 1880 census through www.familysearch.org. The census taker spelled the last name as Rheiner, but everything else matches. Daughter Nellie was 6 years old. Did Fanny die in the 1874-1879 time period? So Jacob is probably buried at the Veterans Home. Here's their website: http://dva.state.wi.us/Misc_KingHome.asp Civil War Veterans of Winnebago County has very little information on Jacob Schneider; if you wold be willing to share that information, I can pass it on to David Langkau. Thanks.
