In searching for more information on my gg-grandparents, William and Ernstine Hennig who I find on the town of Utica 1880 federal census, I am now seeking naturalization records that may exist in that area since the couple immigrated from Prussia in 1872 and it appears that they lived in this area for a time although one child was born in Ripon. Someone suggested that church records may also be useful. They were Lutheran, and I wondered if anyone has looked into or knows of Lutheran churches in that area existing between 1872 and 1880.
