I noticed the post about Myrtle Mitchell writing a book about Rush Lake, Wis. My grandfather, George L. Smith was born there 19 April 1856, married Rose Allen 12 May 1876, died St. Louis Park, Minn. 21 Sep 1893, buried Omro City Cemetery. I wonder if anyone would have any further info? His father was Thomas P. Smith. Thomas came from New York state. Later in life lived in Omro, and is also buried in the Omro Cemetery along with my father G. Ray Smith.
