Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CGC.2ACI/455.1 Message Board Post: There are two Pine Rivers in Wisconsin that I know of - one in Lincoln County and one in Waushara County. Waushara is the county to the west of Winnebago County so I believe you would probably need to look in Waushara County. The newspaper that you would want is probably the Waushara Argus.

I am corresponding with another McCormick researcher and hope to find out Mary's parents. That should help a good deal in connecting families. I'll keep in touch.

Surnames: Leaman, Livingston Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CGC.2ACI/453 Message Board Post: Can anyone point me to a source of information that might specify exactly when and where Elizabeth (Livingston) Leaman (c.1826-1913), aka Sally Elizabeth or Elizabeth Sally Leaman, died? She lived in Winneconne most of her life with her husband Edward Leaman (1822-1902), and she is buried in Winneconne with her husband. I am looking for a specific date of death, and place of death if known. The Winnebago County Register of Deeds could not find a record of death for her, so I am wondering if she died in another county.

Surnames: Resch, Gutman Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CGC.2ACI/452.1.1 Message Board Post: Yes there is! It was the uncle of one of the people that is helping put the family history together. Preliminary research shows that Joseph Resch received special permission from Francis Joseph, King of the Austro-Hungarian empire, to leave for America. I believe that all Resch family members, at least within Wisconsin, are related. I would love to work with you if you'd like, as would the others involved in piecing together this family's history.

I never dreamt I would find so many family records, I still haven't covered them all. The people there are very helpful. They are only open on Tuesdays and you need to call ahead and make an appointment. I'm sure if you call they can tell you if they have the type of record you are looking for. They will also do research for you for a fee. the Diocese is actually seperate from the archive building. You will need to go to Webster Ave. check out their website at http://www.gbdioc.org/ look on the left hand side of the screen and click on archives. good luck!!
