    2. Hello
    3. Hi, I am writing about the BEDUHN surname. My mother's family is from Black Wolf, WI. My g-grandmother, Bertha LUEBKE, had a sister, Hannah, who married John BEDUHN. Just wondered if this might be the same BEDUHN family. I am convinced there is a connection, as there are too many coincidences, just don't know what the connection is. I understand August had a son Charles, do you have anything on him? He would be in the right generation to be my gg grandfather Charles. Also understand there was a brother Frank with a wife Pauline. We have correspondance from Frank and Pauline. And you mentioned Rudolph farmed in Blue Earth Co., which of course is where my Charles lived. Do you know what year that was? or where they were in Blue Earth Co.? I have heard someone in the New London area has done a book on the Hidde's; Any information on that? Would love to know more about this family. You may email me directly at lostrich@iowatelecom.net

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/CGC.2ACI/487 Message Board Post: I am doing genealogy research on Norbert DeNevers who was supposedly killed in a car accident in Chicago, Illinois on June 26, 1941 and was buried in Green Bay, Wisconsin- I don’t know the Cemetery. He may have been from either state or had family there. He was married to Marcella (Baldwin) DeNevers from Waterloo, Blackhawk Co., Iowa on Nov. 22, 1940, the location of the marriage is Cicero or Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. His wife was pregnant with twins (my boyfriend and his sister) when Norbert died and they were born on Oct. 2, 1941 in Topeka, Kansas. We do not know where or when he was born (approximate age at death was 22). Any information would be helpful. He is of Polish descent, possibly his parents were immigrants (don’t know where they came from, when they came to the U.S., into which port of entry or on which ship) and changed their Polish surname (unknown) to DeNevers. We do not believe he served in any branch of the military. I can’t fi! nd him of the Soc. Security Death Index. Probably no death benefits were available/applied for or paid out.Thank you.
