I for one will be expecting jan's link to be on this page of the genweb... http://www.rootsweb.com/~wigenweb/winnebago/interactive.html just as on Jan;s page i will be expecting to see the link to the WInnebago wegenweb page... i really dislike hearing anything about HIS and HERS, THEIRS and MINE... it tells me that all is not well with the management, let alone with the troops.... it also makes people not comfortable with the placement of their works..... usually, we expect stability.... i am not reading this from any of the latest posts... if you must divorce, then at least have an adult divorce.... and be good friends.... ----- Original Message ----- From: Tina S Vickery To: WIWINNEB-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, August 10, 2003 5:39 PM Subject: Re: [WIWinneb'go] Winnebago County WIGenWeb Project site. Anyone wishing to leave your materials with the WIGenWeb, and not the new site on AHGP, please let me know and I will remove them immediately from the current site with the American Genealogy and History Network. Thank you Janet for staying. You have been one of the biggest contributors to the site, since it was taken over and materials put online. For the record Ms. Vickery stated to me that she would not allow me to come back because I didn't have the best interest of the WIGenWeb at heart. Quite the contrary, I believe that I have contributed much to the WIGenWeb, and to this Winnebago County site, when it didn't have anything. I spent many hours of time in putting material online there. Also the person the site was reassigned to stated she was not interested in it because she didn't have the time. All of a sudden she does? Nuff said on this subject, just let me know and I will be removing all your materials from the AGHP site, if you wish. Thanks and I have enjoyed working with you. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CGC.2ACI/346.1.1 Message Board Post: The internet never ceases to amaze me. I wondered why the the Glogon site had no mention of father Lani, so I searched his name. He baptized me in 1937 and for many years my grandparents attended St. Stephen's. I remember the bazaars every year and all the people who gradually left us as the years went by. The funerals at Reidermann's were more and more sparcely attended as the years passed. After ww2 the neighborhood around the church was populated by many "DP's" and the parish flourished. Those were good times. I remember some of the men would repair to the parish hall for a beer after mass. My cousins the Budos attended mass there after coming from Glogon after the war. I have since lost touch with them and I suppose progress has taken its toll. Regards, John Rieth

Hi all -- My name is Tina Vickery, and I am the State Coordinator of the WIGenWeb Project located at http://www.rootsweb.com/~wigenweb. Jan posted recently that the Winnebago County site has moved. While she did move it, what she neglected to tell you all is that her role as Winnebago County Coordinator also ceased. The pages she presents are not part of the WIGenWeb Project, and the many submissions that many of you made are not present on the WIGenWeb Project Pages. She took the site down, lock, stock, and barrel. I have placed a new WIGenWeb Project Winnebago County site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~wigenweb/winnebago/ and invite all of you that have contributed to the pages formerly at http://www.rootsweb.com/~wiwinneb to contact me if you wish your contributions to remain and continue on the WIGenWeb Project Winnebago site. I look forward to hearing from and working with you! Tina Vickery tsvickery@adelphia.net SC WIGenWeb Project http://www.rootsweb.com/~wigenweb
Jan, Ms. Vickery contacted me a couple days ago asking me if she could post the materials I submitted to your site on the USGenWeb site. I noticed yesterday that my submissions were posted to the USGenWeb site without permission. Please keep my submissions on your site. You have done an excellent job building the Winnebago site up from what it was. As well as keeping up all the other sites you maintain out of and within the USGenWeb project. It is a shame more people do not put in the time and effort on their sites as you do. Even though you don't live in the state, you still do a fantastic job keeping on all of your sites, USGenWeb or otherwise. Ms. Vickery, please remove my submissions from the USGenWeb Winnebago site.
