Surnames: King, Martin Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CGC.2ACI/523 Message Board Post: Looking for anyone who may connect or have information on the King and/or Martin families of Rushford, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. I am especially interested in William King and Hannah Polly Martin who were from New Hampshire. Their son Jirah Martin King ended up in Dane County. I believe that Phillip King and BF King were their children born in New York. Another son Moses King ended up in Seneca County, Ohio and I am uncertain where he went from there. There are probably many other Kings since Jirah Martin King was born in 1810 in New Hampshire and BF King was born in 1829 in New York. I know that Jirah Martin King who went mostly by Martin King spent some time in Dane County Ohio before moving to Dane County Wisconsin. I am still researching William King's pattern. In 1870, there is a James Martin who was born in New Hampshire. I believe this is probably a nephew to William and Hannah Polly King. Anything would be appreciated.
Stop by and take a look, Janet Eiler has managed to walk the Waukau Cemetery and its all online. Way to go Janet! http://www.jansdigs.com/Winnebago/index.html Jan Cortez WI AHGP
