Ernestine is recorded only with dates of 1842-1911. Daughter Sophie, who apparently never married, died in January 1934. Obit indexing for 1910-1914 should be posted within the next month or so, enabling you to find further information about Ernestine.

From Georgiana's obituary I learned she was buried at Lake View Memorial Park. I assume William was also. Lake View asked me to request info in writing. I checked with Riverside Cemetery, where Georgiana's son by a prior marriage (Harry Weymouth) was buried. They have no record of Isaac or Rebecca Wilson.

The microfilm copy wasn't the greatest in that Carl's father's name was not readable. His mother's name was Sophia and he was a "workman" living in Menasha at the time. The Weil, Schroeder and Ulrich families have hit a roadblock in the research of my family. Thank you for your reply and I'm sorry that I don't have any further information. Not much help huh? Marv

Again any information would be appreciated. I am searching for Carl Ulrich who lived in Menasha and Elizabeth Weil who lived in Neenah in Winnebago Co., around the time frame of 1873. Carl married Elizabeth 15 March 1873 in Neenah. Their witnesses were H. Horn and F Sturm. Elizabeth's parents were Herman and Elizabeth Weil and Carl's mother's name was Sophia. I believe Elizabeth is a ggggreataunt whose sister Friedricka (Ricki)is my gggrandmother Friedricka Schroeder who was the wife of John Schroeder. Any help and/or information would be appreciated. The last time I checked, the fee for copies of obituaries at OPL was $5 for those of us who don't live in Wisconsin, prohibitive if you want more than a couple or if you're not sure if you're related to the subject. Parents of Ernestine Retshk are John and Christina, date of marriage April 2, 1862 in Oshkosh at a Lutheran Church. John Kranz's parents are George Henry Kranz and Elizabeth. I also found marriage for Theodor Retzak to Hannah Zager January 24, 1866 volume 1 page 290 document 1766. His parents are John and Justine. Marriage certificate for Julia Retzak and Siegfried Koehn August 22, 1866 volume 1 page 305 page 1884, her parents are John and Justine, Also a marriage record for August Retzack and Auguste Heisse December 11, 1873 volume 1 page 601 document 4105 his parents are Johann and Christine. I believe these records would document a relationship between these Retshk/Retzack/Retzak's. If you would like a copy of any of these, send a request with the above information, your relationship to the Retzak, $7 fee for each (certified and uncertified), I suggest uncertified because the record will be larger and easier to read unless you need documentation to prove descendancy, a return address and your signature. Kranz before 1870. The 1860 census for Oshkosh has four members of this family living with the family of Anton O. Krug. The Retzoks were: Gustav, 24, August, 18, Ernestine, also 18, and Julianna, 12. Mrs. Krug, Rosa, was 22 so these may have been her siblings. All were born in Prussia. Gustav and August are listed over the years in the City Directories under several different spellings but I am unable to connect them with certainty to Ernestine Retzok Kranz. I would also like to know about their ancestors. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Polly
