I only have an index here at home. Her parents might be listed on the actual record at the Register of Deeds though. I say might because early records weren't always complete. The volume, page number, & document number is the exact location of the record at the Register of Deeds office. I will try to remember to look for the marriage record next time I am down there....maybe Monday (depending on weather)

In the Winnebago link click on Neenah, City of. Then scroll down and you will see: District 130 Neenah, City: Nepeuskun Town You will find your Frank Babcock on Pg 29A or image number 15 in ancestry. These townships are no where near each other as Nepeuskun is in the south western part of Winnebago County while Neenah is in the north eastern part. Nepeuskun is bordered to the north by Rushford Twp, to the East by Utica Twp, to the south Fond du Lac County, and to the west by Green Lake County.

I know, as I have a book called "A History of Waukau" that Waukau was settled around 1846, my ancestors were abundant there, it might be that Pickett was settled around the same time. I have e-mailed my friend from Pickett to see if she might have some history info., if so will forward to you. Also, name of Thrall strikes a bell, seems the name of Earl Thrall is one I remember, hope your search is successful, also it seems that www.Google.com might be worth searching, my best wishes for a successful search. 1. Mc Cormick/ Monahan connection
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: McCormick,Monahan,Mahoney Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/CGC.2ACI/633 Message Board Post: Attn.Judy and Rebecca. In Fond du Lac paper for May 22,1913 there is a story about my G’mother and the death of her cousin Michael Monahan in Texas. Also mentioned are two other violent deaths(read Train accidents) of brothers Thomas and James Monahan. Relatives listed as Anna Spalding,Sarah Freeborn,Frank Monahan of Oshkosh and Margaret Golden,Elizabet Hughley(Chicago) Mary Tinney(MKE)(sisters) and John Monahan of L.A.(brother). Using this clue I went back to 1880 Census on Familysearch.org and found the James Monaghan family(Same kids, different spelling) and living next door was GG’ma Bridget McCormick Hogan and G’ma Mary Ann Hogan-later Mrs David Mahoney. From this I infer that Mrs.James Monaghan was Margaret McCormick since this would make the Monaghan kids Mary Ann’s cousins. GG’ma Bridget’s obit(1902) listed surviving sisters Mary Levy and “Mrs.B.Monahan”. 1880 Census gives Margaret’s age as 62 and Bridget’s as 56. I thought Bridget was oldest but I have not found Margaret McCormick in New Brunswick records yet.
