I am going to get your items (cemetery pics, obits, etc) together this week and get them out in the mail by weeks end. Let Glenn Bonney know that my emails to him are also bouncing back to me. A couple weeks ago I "F-Booted" my pc and have reinstalled everything and I still can't get an email to you. Write back with your mailing address again just in case it got lost when I emptied out my pc....I am getting your emails! Janet

The photos are mounted on cardboard with a sepia tone photo. The photo was taken at Ely, Oshkosh, Wisconsin. No date listed but it looks like they may be from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Ed Grueschangen has a dark suit and bow tie. He has sideburns with his hair parted in the middle. A watch bob is attached to his vest button. (The photo is not in color it is a brown color) Rose Plety is wearing an old fashioned dress with a lace stand up collar. and covered buttons down the front. Her hair is pulled up with a long braid wrapped up in a bun.her eyes appear to be perhaps light blue. She looks as if she may be in her 50's? The photo was taken at Neuman's in Oshkosh Wis. I have no genealogy for either of these photos. I would just like to get them back the family members. Any person who is related to these people and wants the photos sent to them please reply to this message. The charge will be the same as what I paid for them plus postage which may be about 50 cents tp $1.00? because of the thickness of the photo.(slow boat) I have no clue if these people lived in Oshkosh or just had their picture taken there.

I now know where Mary is buried and also that there are no death records on file for either Mary or William Stevenson in Winnebago County. I have located William Stevenson living with a niece, Rebecca Stevenson, in Indiana on the 1880 census. He is blind and widowed and I believe he is the correct William as he had earlier ties in Indiana. So he is probably buried in Indiana.
No death records were filed for your William and Mary Stevenson. Eureka Cemetery Section 1, Row 7 Stevenson, Mary H. Born April 16, 1900 Died Jan 2, 1873 (wife of William Stevenson) No stone for William is listed but if he died after her, there may not have been any family to buy him a stone? Hope this helps. There had been problems with the lists the past two weeks. The problems have been fixed and message delivery has started. No messages have been lost. For future reference: First, whenever you are not sure you are getting mail that you should be, go to the RW Help page http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/ And check the [yellow background] announcement at the top of the page; if there have been maillist problems, it will be so stated there. Second, if no problems at the announcement page , check the list archives: Go to the page where you originally subscribed - as in http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/usa/WI/winneb.html Scroll down to the "Browse Archives" and then choose the most recent month. You will see the messages posted most recently (after a 1 or 2 day delay for archive processing) If you are not getting messages, and there are recent messages in the archives, and no announced problems, try to confirm your subscription: Go to RW Password Central http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ (also available as a link off the help page) And fill in your email address, and click on "To which lists am I subscribed?" You will receive an email within a very short time. If you are still subscribed, and not receiving any messages, write to the List Administrator: LISTNAME-admin@rootsweb.com or in this case, WIWINNEB-admin@rootsweb.com and describe the problem. If there are no problems and no recent messages in the archive - post a query to the list; sometimes people forget that they are subscribed to a given list, and a new post gets everyone involved.

She was born in Winnie Co, Wisconsin on April 14, 1868 and died in Jackson, Michigan on July 1, 1946. She married Jacob Tripp and after he died Edward Boozell. I've hit a block on her ancestors. Her death certificate states her father as Charles born in Canada and her mother as unknown. However, I have found that her mother's first name is Elizabeth and that she later remarried a Kellogg. I have a baby picture of Carrie that was taken in Pinnconning, Michigan. I assume that the family moved shortly after her birth. Any help in finding more information on Carrie's parents would be greatly appreciated! April Paluszak
