These are 2 names in the wedding announcement that was in the Oshkosh paper announcing the marriage of Mary Ann Hopkins and John Wayne Briggs. I am assuming Donald Tullard is Mary Ann's stepfather as well as Florian Darnick... I am so confused. I know that my grandmother Olga married Wayne Tauschmann and that is who I called my grandfather for years. I need help finding out my roots on this side of my family. Any help would be great.

I am interested in hearing from descendents of Michael Martin (b ~1906 in Brown County Wisc) or of his son Robert (b. ~1927 in Winnebago County Wisc.) Michael's father Gustave Martin would have been my g-g-g-uncle. Gustave was born at Greenbay Settlement in ~1865. His parents were Francis Martin and Cecile Josse who emigrated from Petit Rosiere, Brabant Belgium about 1855. The 1930 census shows Gustave(Gust), his wife Cecilia(born in Belgium about 1881), daughters Deloris and Hazel as well as Michael his wife and Robert all living together in Winnebago County. They'd previously been farming near Lawrence, Brown County. Any distant cousins interested in genealogy? Please email. Hi All, I'm trying to find out more information on Lillian C. LENTZ b. Oct 1896 (1900 census), daughter of Hermann LENTZ of Germany. On March 17, 1927 she married Gilbert STROEDE in Oshkosh. A year later they divorced. Does anyone know what happened to her, or if this couple had a child? I have a Donald STROEDE b. 1928 who I've not been able to connect to any other Stroede's in the area. He would have been born in the same time frame that this couple were married. In the 1930, Oshkosh census Donald STROEDE (2) was found lodging with the Fred H. PURDY family. Fred (53) and wife Olive H. (40) were found living on Grand Ave. with their 4 children and mother-in-law Johanna EILERS (79) widowed, born in Germany. Children: Eva L. (20), Mabel C. (18), Margaret (16), and Dorothy O. (14). It's uncertain why Donald is living with this family, or what his relationship is with my STROEDE family. Any information would be deeply appreciated. ~Michelle
