If Jan, my distant relative, is finding that side of the family, I would love to have dinner with my paternal ggg-grandfather Dr. Thomas Kelley and ask about his ancestry and where they came from in Ireland. Oh wouldn't that be a treat to be able to cross the ocean to find current distant relatives? Dr. Thomas was born in NY but came west with his son William Kelley who built the first house in the town of Plainfield. Dr. Thomas died in 1852 and is buried in the Plainfield cemetery along with all my other ancestral grandparents. I would also like to ask his wife, Sina Baker, about her background since she also is a brick wall.
