    1. Re: [WIWAUSHA] Who would you spend Christmas Dinner with?

    3. I would choose my grandfather, Gilbert Darling. He died when I was 10 years old so I only have a few memories of him. When he was alive, he told a family member that there was indian in our family line but I have never been able to prove it through research. Gilbert lived in Wild Rose, WI most of his younger years and I would have liked to ask him more about his parents and his life growing up there. If you could pick one of your ancestors to join you for your holiday dinner, who would you pick and what questions would you ask about their life, family, etc. to break down some of those brick walls? I know, as well as the rest of you, that you would like to see them all, as would I...... But, I would choose my ggggrandfather Job Bound Senior and ask him who his grandparents were on his paternal side. My quest over the years has been to identify the parents of David Bound, who married Catherine Snedeker. Wishing you all the best for the holidays.
