    3. Dear List, Thanks to the "1890 Portrait and Bio Album of Green Lake, Marquette and Waushara Counties" web page, I believe I have a link that may help me find a great great uncle. Under the heading of Poysippi it stated that a "Dr. H.A. McWain was a resident physician." Then I found two other online entries under the "Waupaca Republican" which referred to Dr McWain being the President of the Badger telephone line in 1895 and 1896. In the Saxeville.org site I found a reference for a "Dr. MacWain of Poy Sippi..." I believe this is Harmon Abraham McWain who was born Dec. 10, 1855 in East Dorset, Bennington Co., VT. He was the son of Harmon Blackmer McWain and Amanda Malvina Coolidge of Plymouth, Windsor Co., VT. He was the just younger sibling to my 2nd great grandmother, Jennie McWain Sawyer, and I've been looking for him for quite awhile. I had one reference that he practiced medicine in Chigago, but that reference was in the late 1880s. I could never find him in Chicago, nor could I find an obituary there for his 1903 death or either of his two wives (Annie L. Dudley and Emma Mathews). One of the references for "The Republican" in 1895 states that "McWain has a pleasant home, good office, store and post office all near together and conveniently arranged. The Doctor has a large practice in this section, the telephone line being a great convenience." I would like to know if anyone can help me locate these places mentioned as well as a bit more about this Dr. H A McWain. Many blessings, Jill Watters Rains
