Hello All! I am searching for any information regarding Lorenz(various spellings) and Anna ROTH Ackermann. Also, John H. Eich and Annie ROEDER. All born in Germany according to census records. These are my great great grandparents. For Lorenz his last residence from Switzerland according to passenger records. I have found Lorenz coming over from the ship called France in 1882(see below) Passenger's Name: Lorenz Ackermann Age: 21 Gender: Male Occupation: Miner Last Residence: Switzerland Date of Arrival: Jul. 13, 1882 Final Destination: USA Ship's Name: France Manifest ID Number: 80201 Port of Embarkation: Havre As you can see I don't have anything else on the family. I am wondering if his wife came over with him. According to US Census records year of immigration to the US was 1880. So are we just off by two years or did they come on separate ships? Would love to know more about this family. Would love to know more about the ship France and it's voyages. Now, as for John H. and Annie ROEDER Eich I don't have a ship for any of them. They immigrated over in 1888 according to US Census records. I believe they would have came over with at least 2-3 children too. Annie and Katherine both also born in Germany. Both families were from Milwaukee & Waukesha Counties. If anyone can help me find these passengers and maybe a direction on where to go next, that would be great! I am new to the ships and immigration process and have a small child so Internet right now is unfortunately the only access I have. I would be grateful to any help!!! Thank you, Faith
