I'm searching for info on the descendants of Philo Elias Darling, b.10 June 1833,d.1 July 1922. Married to Martha Jeffers. One of my living family members has told me that he came to Wild Rose and started the first church and the first school in the area. How would I find out where the church and school are located, if they are still standing? Local library? or Historical Society?
