I was wondering if anyone familiar with the area of Aurora Township in Waushara County could tell me what Newspaper was best to look in for news, obits, etc. for that community? I'm interested in the 1870-1920 time frame, in general. I have looked through some Berlin, Green Lake County, papers and know that they have a few tidbits in a "Aurora Community" gossip type column at times, but it doesn't seem to feature obits, etc. from Aurora Township. Would the "Waushara County Argus" be a better place to look? Or is it too far away? How about Omro, Winnebago County? Or, are the Berlin papers the ones I should keep looking in? I guess I'm looking to find which papers are likely to encompass that area. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
