Prior to this, they were living in Milwaukee, where Joe was a seaman/chief engineer. Joe died in 1955, and Bertha in 1962, both in Mukwonago. They probably attended a Catholic church, as they are buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. They apparently had no children. If anyone knew this couple, or can direct me to any information about them, I would be most grateful.
