Dear List Members, I'm wondering if anyone has access to old copies of the Brookfield News and would be willing to make a copy of a couple of items from August 1966. I don't remember if BN was still weekly at that time or daily. On August 2, 1966, Michael T. Ledebur, was killed in Vietnam. There was a short article about his death in the paper, also an obituary. I would like to have a zerox copy of both. Also would like a copy of his obit from the Milwaukee Journal, if that's not too much trouble. It would mean a great deal to me to have those clippings, and I would be happy to reimburse you for your time and copying expenses. Thank you very much, Sherry Brown St. Charles, IL 60174
I will be going to the Brookfield Library today and will take a peak for you. Hopefully they have microfiche/film for the year you are looking for. I don't know if they carry the Journal for that year. I will check. I will let you know what I find.
