Hi, Was able to find them in 1850 census. Aaron Clefton, 52, farmer, b. Mass Mary, 63, b. NY next door AB Clifton, 33, farmer, b. Mass Rebecca, 28, b. NY M.B., (female) 7, b. Wi Harriet, 5, b. Wi they were probably in NY for 1840 census you can check at LDS Family History Center to see if the state census are available
