Does anyone have access to this census? I have found one of the people I am looking for in 1880 federal census ( Racine ). Lack of 1890 census has caused many problems for me. By 1900 census, the wife in this couple was dead. The husband had remarried and moved out of state too. Frank Christian Peterson ( Frands Christian Pedersen, b 1857 Lolland, Denmark ) His first wife Lyda May Allagad ?? ( maiden name not correctly spelled __unk ). They married and had 3 children @ 1883 Christine, daughter @ 1885 Bert , son 1887 Lucille, daughter They moved around some. Frank was a blacksmith. 1890-1892 in the Waukesha Directory. About 1893, best guess, his daughter Christine died of disease. First wife must have also died around this time. By 1894, he ( Frank ) had remarried. Second wife's maiden name here was Hanson. She was also from Denmark. They moved to New Mexico. They had their own business a Blacksmith's . There was one more son in 1896. I have been looking for info on first wife and eldest daughter. Any info would help. My grandmother's orig SS application was lacking in correct info, spelling etc. Thanks, B Clark ( NM )
