Hi, I have information from a newspaper obituary from the Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune that states my grandfather, August Schalla and my grandmother, Lottie (Charlotte) Sowatzka (Sowatzke) were married April 24, 1886 at Waukesha. I have been unsucessful in finding any information concerning the Sowatzke side of my family. According to church records from St John's Lutheran in Pittsville, Charlotte Sowatzke's father's name was John. She was born August 12, 1868. My grandfather was August Schalla, born August 1, 1860. He died July 1932 and my grandmother died August 22, 1942. They both are buried in Pittsville, WI. I have found other Sowatzke's but have not been able to tied it all together. So I am hoping that since they lived in the Waukesha area in 1886, I might be able to get a clue starting from there. Any help or suggestions will be welcomed!! Thanks. Lois
